Congress is moving to cut WYEP's funding right now — here's how to help.

WYEP Summer Music Festival Highlight: Jack Swing

I am really excited to see the band Jack Swing at this year’s Summer Music Festival. This great band will bring a fusion of classic rock, funk, and soul to the stage. This group is so unique in the way they fuse genres, their dynamic performance style, and Isaiah Ross' vocals make Jack Swing a joy to watch and listen to.

A few years ago, Jack Swing had a record release and drink collab celebration at Thunderbird Music Hall. It was jam-packed, and they performed like superstars (because they are!). I am always amazed at their synchronization, chemistry, and the amazing arrangements and vocals they share in their music.

Earlier this year, Jack Swing stopped by the WYEP Studio to perform a Live and Direct session to an audience of WYEP members and really stole their hearts. These guys are full of energy, bravado, and so masterful of the stage. Be ready to dance when you catch their set at the Summer Music Festival!

Some of their songs that I love are “Get What's Mine For You,” “Like Water,” “Daydreams,” “Into The Sun,” honestly... the entire “Like Water” album!

I know you will like Jack Swing if you love Jimi Hendrix, N.E.R.D., Res, and Jose James.
