FAQ: What an end to federal funding for public radio would mean for WYEP

This year's Dollar Bank Three Rivers Arts Festival: Cautious Clay, Suzanne Vega & Tiera Kennedy

A few changes are coming to the Dollar Bank Three Rivers Arts Festival this year — it’s a shorter festival, just four days from June 5th through the 8th. And it’s in a new location, too — the 15th Street Plaza along Waterfront Place in the Strip District. This is all part of what Randall Miller from the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust calls a “transitional year,” as the Cultural Trust prepares a new permanent home for the festival in the 4-acre Arts Landing space that is being constructed for 2026.

One thing that’s consistent through all the changes is the free concerts that happen alongside booths showcasing visual art from across the country. The 2025 lineup has lots to look forward to for WYEP listeners, who will recognize many of the names below.
