Driftwood (Pittsburgh CD Release)

One of the most prominent national acts to come out of the Binghamton, New York music scene, Driftwood, is at heart a Rock band. Carving out a name for themselves with electrifying live performances, they bring one of the most unique, raw sounds to ...the Americana/Roots scene. Incorporating upright bass, banjo, acoustic guitar and violin, the ghost of traditional American folk music lives in their palette. Featuring special guest The Wreckids.

Peter Mulvey

Twenty-odd years on the road, performing songs from his own catalog and from a vast, varied, and deep well of classic and obscure covers, has prepared Mulvey to deliver this collection. Night after night, the process of divining the heart of a song, being alert to where the moment can lead, has shaped him as an artist. To each rendition, he brings the soul of a singer, a light touch in a heavy world. Featuring special guest The Damaged Pies

Fiddlesticks: Carnival of the Animals

Let music inspire your imagination! The Carnival of the Animals is one of the most famous pieces by French composer Camille Saint-Saëns. Each of the movements in this spectacular orchestral work depicts a different animal, from the royal lion to the graceful swan. Joining conductor Lawrence Loh and Fiddlesticks onstage is cartoon artist Joe Wos from the Toonseum, who will illustrate the animals as the PSO performs. Let your imagination run wild in this musical journey through the animal kingdom.

Caroline Smith

Merging '90s R&B and neo-soul with her indie-rock roots, Caroline Smith's new music has settled comfortably into a new backdrop as she takes a step from girl to woman. Half About Being a Woman is a record about self-acceptance and growing into yourself; it's about going back to the roots of 'feel-good' music.
