16th Annual WYEP Summer Music Festival Guide
WYEP's 16th Annual Summer Music Festival will be held Friday, June 28th at Schenley Plaza.
The festival is a free, family-friendly summer music concert, complete with activities for children and an indie craft marketplace.
The festival will feature four
live performances, starting at 6 p.m. The lineup WYEP selected caters to a wide range of music tastes; from the New Orleans-style blues of Anders Osborne
to the neo-soul, R&B rhythms of Boston crooner Jesse Dee, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit's
Southern rock influence to the rock & roll jams from Pittsburgh-based Neighbours.

Anders is no stranger to WYEP - last March, he stopped by for a studio session.
Jason Isbell is another veteran member of WYEP studio session musicians - listen to his performance before you see him at Summer Music Fest!
Jesse Dee might hail from Boston, but he's opened for soulful, southern artists like Aretha Franklin and Al Green.
He's recently performed on NPR's World Cafe: Next.
The Awesome Commonwealth Press Crew
That's right, your favorite Pittsburgh screen printers will be joining the fun at the Summer Music Fest! WYEP is thrilled to be partnering again with Commonwealth Press, who will be on-site providing awesome screen-printed shirts featuring original, funky festival designs.
