On air on WYEP since 1998, Dubmission features a mix of offbeat, glitch, house, techno, jazz, leftfield, dub, soul, lo-fi, funk, hiphop, downtempo, broken beat, disco, and rare grooves. Many releases featured on the show are released strictly on vinyl. It’s all about the music.

Host Bio

Originally from Istanbul (Turkey), Kerem moved to Pittsburgh in 1995 to attend college. He started with WYEP as an intern while the Art Institute of Pittsburgh in 1997, he served as Assistant Music Director for a couple of years in the late '90s & hosted Modern Times during the Tuesday overnight shift. In 1998, Kerem switched his Modern Times show to Dubmission to focus on electronic music that wasn’t getting airplay on the radio in those days & hasn’t looked back since.
