A small community covering one square mile along the banks of the Allegheny River, located ten minutes from downtown Pittsburgh.
The streets of Etna illuminate to welcome the holiday season on the day after Thanksgiving! Festivities begin with a hometown parade escorting Santa down Butler Street. The evening features a host of family fun, including trolley rides, live reindeer, children’s games and activities, photo booth, balloon artist, Christmas card collection for soldiers and of course Old Saint Nick and Mrs. Claus! Performances by Pine Creek Community Band and strolling musicians, and a dramatic reading of “The Night Before Christmas”. The finale at the ballfield includes the Firemen’s Open House with a toasty bonfire and a magical fireworks display!
