Cool Kids: Temptations: My Girl
Submitted by [email protected] on December 3, 2013
"I've got sunshine on a cloudy day." That may not be true for us in Pittsburgh today, but it was true for the Temptations in their song "My Girl", all the way back in 1964. The Temptations brag in their song that "I don't need no money, fortune or fame. I've got all the riches, baby, one man can claim," and while this is true for a girlfriend or wife, it's also true of the love we feel for our daughters! "My Girl" was written by Smokey Robinson and Ronald White of the Miracles, and has been covered by a ton of artists, including Otis Redding, Stevie Wonder, and the Rolling Stones. Check out the video for the song below, and watch the five men of the Temptations dance and convince us of their passion.
