Cool Kids: They Might Be Giants - Science Is Real

In 2009, They Might Be Giants released a wonderful album called Here Comes Science.  This album is fun and educational for children and adults, alike.  John Flansburgh & John Linnell from They Might Be Giants crafted 19 songs that deal with many aspects of scientific studies like "Why Does The Sun Shine?", "Computer Assisted Design", and "The Ballad Of Davy Crockett (In Outer Space)".

Today's Cool Kids song is the opening track from Here Comes Science called "Science Is Real".  Flansburgh and Linnell sing about astrophysics, geometry, and the Big Bang on this song that presents scientific thought in a simple, straightforward manner.  Yes, they love stories about elves and unicorns, but they prefer to think about the world in a fact-based way.
