Red Hot Chili Peppers Lead Singer Anthony Kiedis Choked by Security Guard

Anthony Kiedis  is in the news again.  However, it is not for the most ideal reason.  Following one of the two recent Rolling Stones performances in Philadelphia at the Wells Fargo Center, the Red Hot Chili Peppers singer tried to meet the band.

The Rolling Stones were staying at the Four Seasons hotel following their June 21 performance.  After the show, Kiedis and his female companion were trying to gain access through the hotel entrance to meet the Rolling Stones.  Kiedis was mistaken for a fan by hotel security and when he was confronted he proceeded to shout and escalate the situation and shoved the security guard.  The Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman was then put into a chokehold.  After the altercation Kiedis had only one thing to say, " I love the Rolling Stones."  You can see the video of the altercation below.
