Black Keys Do Not Have Bieber Fever; Working On a New Album

After collecting a couple of Grammy awards for their album El Camino on Sunday, Black Keys drummer, Patrick Carney, was randomly asked by TMZ for an opinion about Justin Bieber getting shut out of the nominations. To This, Carney responded "I dunno ... He's rich, right? Grammys are for like music, not for money ... and he's making a lot of money. He should be happy." This did not sit well with Bieber, who took to Twitter to express his feeling on the situation: You can imagine the wrath that has befallen Carney from Bieber Nation, but he's taking it all in stride by sending hilarious responses to angry Bielebers' tweets: In other Black Keys news, according to MTV, it seems the guys are going to be headed back to the studio soon with their unofficial third band member, producer Brian Burton a.k.a. Danger Mouse. Frontman Dan Auerbach says, "We are going to get in the studio with him but we've been working for the past month [it's] just [been] the two of us. [The songs are just] sketches. We won't know for another month, I don't think, honestly. We're basically going to make this record more like we made Brothers, where we had some help from Brian but we did a lot of it on our own," Carney added. "We're just going to play it by ear and when we do need help, we'll ask for Brian to come in and help us out. He's kind of our guy." Pretty exciting! Here's hoping we know more in a month.
