Sam Beam expands his sound by adding a variety of new sounds that encompass ska, psychedelic rock and world without sacrificing his introspective vision and quiet intensity.

Joe Henry is a classy songwriter who captures the essence of time and place with this portrait driven group of songs.

This is Doe’s best solo work yet and that’s saying a lot being that Doe has created some of most intelligent, searing rock and punk of the past 30 years!

Stephan Bontrager, Director of Education & Outreach

  1. Amy Winehouse - Back to Black
What more can one write about Amy Winehouse? In one short year, she's managed to capture our collective praise, concern, and scorn, haphazardly stumbling her way through the minefields of personal relationships, drug abuse and the unexpected fame. Despite all the tabloid coverage and fretful self-destructive behavior, though, no one makes music as unabashedly romantic (and tragic) as Winehouse. While 2007 brought us many good albums, Back to Black is the only one that will sound timeless--and sadly relatable--twenty years from now.
  2. Kaiser Chiefs - Yours Truly, Angry Mob
  3. The National - Boxer
  4. Rilo Kiley - Under the Blacklight
  5. Spoon - Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga
  6. Iron & Wine- The Shepherd's Dog
  7. Laura Veirs - Saltbreakers
  8. Rufus Wainwright - Release the Stars
  9. M.I.A. - Kala
  10. Vega4 - You & Others
