Free Star Gazing Party

The Kiski Astronomers is a group of amateur astronomers who meet monthly from September thru May to discuss astronomical observing and who hold star party observing sessions from April thru October. Membership is open to anyone who is interested in astronomy.

The group in conjunction with the Lions Club of Washington Twp will host a "star gazing" party on the evening of Saturday, July 28th, 2012. Enjoy a fun and free night of star gazing! Also, there will be NASA Night Sky Network (hands-on) activities prior to dark and then, the moon, Mars and Saturn with its moons and spectacular rings will be visible through telescopes. You will even be able to view double stars, star clusters and nebulae throughout the course of the evening.
