Pittsburgh's 12th annual Can't Stop the Serenity charity screening will be held on Sunday, July 30, 2017 at the historic Hollywood Theater in Dormont, PA. Doors will open at noon for a spectacular afternoon of games, raffles, and a 2pm matinee showing of the sci-fi classic "Serenity" on the big screen. Proceeds from the event will go to help Equality Now, and this year a portion of the funds raised will be donated to the Al Wooten, Jr. Heritage Center in memory of Ron Glass. Admission to the event is free, but a minimum $10 donation is required for admission to the movie. Can't Stop the Serenity Pittsburgh is presented by the Rivers & Bridges Brigade of the PA Browncoats and sponsored by Geek Pittsburgh. For more information, visit cstspgh.webs.com.
