Their works have entertained and informed audiences of all ages on both a regional and national scale; together, Josh and Gab have teamed up to develop a unique and unforgettable musical bullying awareness program.

The Josh and Gab Show spotlights the team's special humor, various styles of songwriting and personal experiences in an educational and heartfelt program.

Warriors Rock Concert

Sponsored by Levin Furniture and hosted by Larry Richert from KDKA Radio, the concert features Gary Racan and the studio e band. Gary spent 16 years fronting the Vogues, had 14 charted hits and now leads his own acclaimed show band. Gary and his wife, Kim, are very committed to the Wounded Warrior Project: WWP national spokesman Jeremy Feldbusch, who will be honored during the concert, is one of their heroes. Wounded in Iraq, Jeremy has made his life work to help wounded veterans when they return home to the USA. 

Please join Levin Furniture for this performance of the music that inspired, strengthened, and consoled the men and women who have and continue to protect our freedoms!

All proceeds benefit the Wounded Warrior Project.

Kid's Area at WYEP's 16th Annual Summer Music Festival

WYEP's 16th Annual Summer Music Festival will be held Friday, June 28th at Schenley Plaza. The festival is a free summer music concert, complete with kids activities and an indie craft marketplace.

In addition to our great lineup of Anders Osborne, Jason Isbell & the 400 Unit, Jesse Dee, and the Neighbours, we're planning an exciting, fun-filled Kid's Area. 

The Kid's Area will be filled with interactive activities from a variety of Pittsburgh organizations from museums to outdoors groups to dance groups to music organizations.

Head to Pittsburgh's North Side on Saturday, July 6th for a full-on FREE celebration of local music at the Deutschtown Music Festival! Over 40 bands will be performing all day (and into the evening!) at 8 locations around the Deutschtown neighborhood. From jazz to blues, rock and German, electronic and bluegrass, this festival has music to please all tastes. Daytime performances are family-friendly, while the evening performances will be adult-focused.

Beats-n-Eats Midday Dance Party

Meet up with Penn Avenue creatives for the second installment of KST's midday dance party series at Quiet Storm. Beats-N-Eats includes special lunch and drink menus, a house DJ and yes, dancing! Take a break, grab some food, and bust a move with Kelly Strayhorn Theater, recently voted "Best Dancers in Arts Management," by an office poll. 

There's no cover charge, just come and eat, and enjoy the beat. 

Beats-N-Eats will be held the second Wednesday of each month throughout the summer.

Calling all Barbequing masters, novices, and start-up businesses to sign-up for the Tom Friday’s BBQ Cook-off!  We’re also looking for Home Brewers who want to pair off their concoctions best suited for BBQ to partake in a Brew-Off!   This event is open to the public to apply and space is limited- so first come, first served.  There is no fee to enter in to the contest.  Tom Friday is our honorary judge for “Best BBQ” and votes will be taken from the crowd to award for “Best of Cook-Off” & “Best of Brew-Off”.  Prizes TBA.
