Robert Plant "lullaby...And The Ceaseless Roar"
Having firmly establishing himself in the Americana arena, Robert Plant does an about face. lullaby and …The Ceaseless Roar explores Plant’s musical wanderlust but turns introspective lyrically. Most songs are originals, co-written and produced with his band The Sensational Space Shifter. The music is a glorious amalgamation of Celtic roots, West African rhythms, British trance, American blues, prog-rock, and piano ballads. The production is lush and multi-layered. Plant is in a confessional mood, particularly on “A Stolen Kiss,” and “House of Love,” two songs that deal with lost love, possibly a reflection on his now defunct relationship with singer Patty Griffin.
