Adult Education

Music and radio enthusiasts can tap into the knowledge of the WYEP/WESA on-air team through classes dedicated to a variety of topics in the radio and music industry. Class topics have included "I Heard it on a V-Disc" which examined the history of early recordings from Thomas Edison's wax cylinder to the vinyl. We've learned about the history of music festivals and about the history of Pittsburgh jazz. And then there's the recurring favorite topic: The Beatles. Adult classes offer the unique opportunity to enrich your knowledge of music and radio related topics by learning from the station's best.
