The first album I bought was Queen's Greatest Hits. I was 7. I remain a die hard Freddie Mercury fan to this day. This fact you should know above all else.
I also love alternative education - experiences which pull people out of the boxes which they have built up around themselves. I want to create opportunities for people to learn how to tear those boxes down and open themselves up to new things.
I pride myself on being Montessori educated, a Pitt Urban Studies grad, and a Coro Fellow. I've been afforded some amazing learning experiences, so you can understand why I'd be interested in creating them for others.
When I'm not engaging our listeners and students, you'll find me in the East End with my family, woodworking, taking walks with Molly (my Redbone Coonhound & Rhodesian Ridgeback mix), and eating delicious food with friends.
I am very, very excited to a part of the team and to bring our community new ways of engaging with WYEP and our sister station, 90.5 WESA.
