Event and Administrative Volunteers:
WYEP currently needs volunteers to help with special events during weekday evenings and weekends. Please contact Membership Director/Volunteer Coordinator Kathleen Radock at 412-381-9131, ext. 212 or email kathi@wyep.org.
We're currently looking for volunteers to help answer phones during our Fall Member Campaign, September 30 thru October 7 at The WYEP Community Broadcast Center. Enthusiasm for WYEP, attention to detail, and the desire to meet other WYEP fans a plus! Most shifts last between 2 and 4 hours and are available during the week and on the weekend. As an added bonus, lunch and dinner are donated by great area restaurants that support WYEP. For more info, or to sign up for a shift or two, contact Volunteer Coordinator Kathleen Radock at kathi@wyep.org.
Volunteer Receptionist:
WYEP is looking for several energetic individuals to volunteer at the reception desk in the new Community Broadcasting Center. The receptionist will be the point of contact for the CBC and be responsible for all incoming calls into WYEP. They may also be asked to assist in some other office tasks such as assisting with outgoing mailings, sort and deliver incoming mail, greet guests and take memberships. This position requires that the individual must have wonderful communication and people skills. Volunteering Shifts are 9am-1 pm and 1pm-5 pm Monday through Friday. For more information on open shifts, or to volunteer, please contact Teresa Trich-Gravante at 412-381-9131 x 223 or teresa@wyep.org.
What You Mean to WYEP:
Although WYEP has grown a lot in recent years, a great deal of work is still done by WYEP volunteers. All of our evening, weekend and overnight hosts are volunteers. In addition, there are over one hundred volunteers who mail out WYEP member cards, member gifts, and the many other items from WYEP that you receive. They also work the WYEP Membership Campaigns and the WYEP booths at special events and concerts. WYEP volunteers are representatives of the station. They are often the first contact that listeners may have with WYEP. Volunteers are an important part of WYEP.
Thank You!
